When we give to different charities we may not always hear from those who are blessed by the gifts we give. The voices of those positively impacted can be an encouragement & heartwarming experience for those who give.

Share-a-pack has collected testimonials from those who have received a Christmas basket filled with food to have and share. Please read & enjoy the honest response of those who have received your generous donations.

Testimonies from the beneficiaries of the Christmas Baskets

I would like to thank you my sponsor for providing me with the Christmas Baskets every year. Whenever you send me a Christmas Basket I remember that Christmas is a time to give to others whatever you have. I benefit from Christmas Baskets because I have something to give to my friends like sweets and to the neighbour we share the green bananas(matooke). Sometimes I receive food baskets on my younger brother’s birthday, which on the 23rd of December. I am always happy to receive the Christmas baskets. May the Lord bless you for what you have done in my life. I pray that God enables me to serve others when I grow up.

When I got the Christmas basket, I was very happy because I found there were a number of items like juice, Green bananas (which we steam and is a staple food in my area, I had taken six months without tasting green bananas locally known as matooke), cooking oil, sugar, soap and spices.

I liked the hard items like Fortified rice, maize flour, sugar, salt, and soap because it took a while to last not only during Christmas time.

I shared the sweets with my friends at home. I enjoyed Christmas with the Christmas Baskets.

Thank you for sponsoring us (me and my family) with the Christmas Baskets.

I like the Christmas Baskets because they have nice things for example a basin, beans, salt, juice, tomatoes, cooking oil, onions and other items. We ate part of the beans and the rest we kept to plant in our small garden in the backyard. We shared some of our sugar, salt, matooke (green bananas) with our neighbour an elderly lady who lives on her own. I also enjoyed the juice for a change. And that was how we enjoyed our Christmas, because we are a large family of seven people.
